Back in January we decided to close down the Club's history site, and we said at the time that it would re-appear soon in a different form.

Well, as part of the fund raising for next season we are publishing a book - "In Black and White" - which will be launched in October of this year. The cover is shown on the left, and features the great Bob Penberthy in action from the 1970s. If anybody symbolises the spirit of Pontypridd RFC, then it is big Bob. We will need all the spirit we can muster as we go forward into the future, as financial pressures increase and other clubs are 'splashing the cash' to tempt players into their clutches.

Much of the material that used to be on the net will be in the book, and there will be a few new bits and pieces as well. Watch this space for details of the launch, and do buy a copy when it comes out. All proceeds will go to the Club, and will form a small part of a major fund raising strategy for next season.
